What We Stand For

Nine objectives guiding every RIALDE program in agriculture, livestock, and rural empowerment.

  1. To enhance food security and improve livelihoods of communities through sustainable and livestock development practices.
  2. To promote environmentally sound and climate-smart approaches in crop and livestock production.
  3. To empower smallholder farmers and livestock keepers through capacity building, access to resources, and market linkages.
  4. To enhance a quality agricultural inputs such asseeds, fertiklizers,and tools at affordable prices and foster the development of value chains for agricuultural through processesing, storage and marketing support.
  5. To advocate for policies and programs that support sustainable agricultural development at local and national level.
  6. To improve animal health and productivity through better breeding practices, diseases, management and nutririon.
  7. To promote the development of value chains for livestock products such as meat, milk, and hides.
  8. To promote gender equality in agricultural and livestock activities.
  9. To foster collaboration and partinerships with government agencies, reseach institutions, other NGOs, and the prive sectors.
